The recent events that happened the past few weeks have opened our eyes in a way that we are now becoming aware on the dangers and risks of what may happen when we are in a public area. While I wish we could trust everyone we see in the area, we don’t know everyone and their intentions.

That’s why it’s crucial to stay alert and always report suspicious activity in case you see any. It pays to know what is going on around you rather than to be oblivious and risk you and your family’s safety.

And I know how challenging it may be to do this, but as long as you stay level-headed and know the precautions and steps to follow during a mass shooting, you will be able to avoid anything fatal happening to you and your loved ones.

That is why I created this infographic filled with the steps you need to take if ever you do encounter a mass shooting in your area.

Yes, it is only eight steps. But these simple steps are effective and can greatly reduce fatalities and keep you safe. I do not hope for anything to happen that you will need to use these steps, but to remain aware of these steps is the best thing you can do to prevent and take action of what may happen to you or your loved ones.
